You can use a pseudonym if you like to remain anonymous and just make readers addictive thorough you work only! You will get an Author section where you can add your bio, link to your website and your social media profiles and also you can link to relevant posts that you wrote on ShivBlog to other sites as well as your other personal or professional blogs. It will help you build solid genuine links without any extra efforts.
It is not necessary that you write articles or blogs only. If you’ve got the talents for it, you can also submit any technical videos or tips, tricks and tutorials or even cartoons that speak out the underlying happy (or not so happy) feelings of SEO field. If you do write, this is what you’ll be writing about
Since we are interested in mostly SEO and Social Media stuff that is what we will expect you to write about too. There are a lot of tech savvy people out there who are constantly in search for original, well written and most importantly accurate content about technological developments and innovations in Search Engine Optimization. We would like you to write keeping that theme in mind. Any articles related to SEO, Social Media, Latest Technologies, and Trends in SEO field are most encouraged! If you are unsure of the content of the article you write you can submit it anyway and we will review it for you.
Professional writing is appreciated and expected but to make it interesting you can forget a grammar rule or two sometimes. Make sure you make it intriguing and not overly stuffed with punch lines and wisecracks. Keep it simple and elegant.
After you submit
All the posts that are submitted for guest writing will be screened by us (edited if necessary) and published only if it meets the guidelines and policies. We are very adamant about the quality of work that gets published so make sure you don’t submit something with simple grammatical or spelling mistakes. Poorly done contributions will not be accepted. In case your contribution doesn’t get selected you’ll be given a valid reason for that (Let’s hope that doesn’t happen). We are hoping all articles that we get will be published as it is.
What you can’t write
It is strictly prohibited to submit content copied from somewhere else. Yes, you can reference example of best practices or trends or sites in your article if it needs it but other than that only original posts will be published. If you are maintaining your personal blog you will not be allowed to submit articles from there too. You can refer the article from ShivBlog to your site. Publicity of any kind through article will not be tolerated. Such posts will not be published. Illegal, unethical, racist and otherwise offensive work will not be accepted. You cannot add affiliate, paid or referral links.
